At InfoRadar, we are fully committed to publishing accurate, fair, and reliable information across all of our content. Accuracy is at the core of our credibility and the trust we hold with our readers.
Commitment to Accuracy
a) We investigate all claims with skepticism, question assumptions, and challenge conventional wisdom before publishing.
b) We are committed to achieving due accuracy in all of our output. “Due accuracy” means that the accuracy must be appropriate to the subject and nature of the content, while clearly highlighting any constraints that may affect completeness.
c) All our content must be well-sourced, evidence-based, and corroborated wherever possible. We are open and transparent about what we don’t know, and we avoid speculation.
d) Our journalists never deliberately plagiarize, mislead, or distort facts or context, including visual or multimedia content.
e) We seek independent verification for claims, information, and allegations — especially those made by public officials or individuals with a vested interest. Content that cannot be corroborated is always attributed to its source.
f) InfoRadar stands by the accuracy of the information we publish. If any piece of content is found to be inaccurate, we promptly correct or update it. We never knowingly mislead our audience or present fabricated information.
g) We provide a “Suggest a Correction” option at the end of web stories so that readers can report errors or inaccuracies.
Fact-Checking Workflow
- Journalists at InfoRadar are primarily responsible for reporting, writing, and fact-checking stories.
- All stories undergo review by one or more editors.
- The level of editorial review depends on factors such as complexity, sensitivity, and urgency of the story.
- Sensitive or high-impact stories go through multi-level fact-checking and senior editorial review before publication.
